Clinical Resources
We are currently updating these resources, so apologies if they appear sparse at present!
We outline a number of clinical resources that are evidenced to impact a person’s mental health and potential for suicidality. These resources are naturally only generalist in nature and every person will have their own individual factors that need to be understood in order to make improvements in their life.
The essential importance of sound, psychosocial needs based suicide risk assessment underpins the provision of all services.
View the video below, recorded for Zero Suicide Institute of Australasia, regarding the assessment of suicide. Importantly, Mr Dan Price also describes his experience of suicide assessment and confirms the ‘not negotiable’ inclusions of suicide specific suicide content.
Carmen also talks about suicide risk formulation. SRAA have a collaborative formulation tool that you can learn about during one of our training sessions.
SRAA also promote Australian developed resources. Included herein are resources developed by SRAA for use with your clients.
