There are three core elements of our service that can be delivered separately, sequentially or concurrently. They include:

Staff Training and Development
Training is delivered in-service and at the pace and scope appropriate to your staffing. We also make it engaging and interactive, measuring practical and skill development, while setting goals for ongoing growth.
We will set targets and empower skills consistent with Australian and international principles for suicide prevention, including those associated with Zero Suicide principles and the application of holistic suicide prevention strategies. In supporting a diverse workforce, flexibility in our delivery has been critical, including;
- Modules delivered individually, however optimum results typically come when the complete suite is taught
- Modules do-designed and adapted to context and resident need
- Additional modules can also be co-developed
- Provision of resources in up to 12 languages
- Training delivered flexibly in line with rosters and shift rotations

An Introduction to Suicide Prevention
The facts on suicidality in older Australians and residential settings, the impact of low-probability and high-consequence behaviours, the value of formal and informal assessments, suicidality and self-injury, together with understanding your role.
Identification and Response
Assessing and monitoring overviews as they influence risk and protective factors, warning signs, means restriction as well as hazard reduction. We also consider time and context issues, whole of service approaches and engaging trusted others.
Leadership in Suicide Prevention
Managing staff, policies, standards, processes and systems through principle empowered leadership. The Zero Suicide framework is encouraged for consideration and implementation.
Self Auditing for Impact and Meaningful Change
Pursuing accountability without blame through a culture of care. Responsibility and accountability in areas of environment, people and systems. Postvention as prevention.
Exploring resident health and wellness as a cornerstone for suicide prevention, especially in areas of motivations to live, connections, recreational activities and mitigating the impact of functional loss. What sets this module apart from other providers, is how we align action plans with theories of suicide to maximise opportunities for suicide prevention.

Note: Assisted dying or end of life considerations are not explored.

Organisational Assessment and Auditing

An audit such as the Organisational Culture Inventory (OCI) may offer critical insights into barriers and opportunities for growth, and notably, those factors that may impair staff from trusting the policies used to support them, or identifying risks that may contribute to errors. Taking this further, when reviewing an organisations suicide prevention strategies, attitudinal barriers and stigma towards suicidality has impaired staff from prioritising necessary action.

Critical Incident / Root Cause Analysis
Errors and incidents are rarely caused by one person in isolation, so our investigative goals are to:
- Index and sequence incident elements
- Identify contributing factors
- Critically identify system vulnerabilities
- Enhance opportunities for learning
- Reduce or eliminate recurrence
Root Cause Analysis (or the London Protocol) is used, recognising the nuances of examining a whole service concern as with the London Protocol, or focusing on the specific circumstance. As with our auditing, we also adhere to and promote principles of a Just Culture.
The protocols followed can vary depending on your circumstances and preferences. The London Protocol is more comprehensive than an RCA. We will explain your options.
The investigation may include policy and procedure reviews, analysis of workforce behaviours, identification of external causative factors, witness interviews and engagement, and evidence analyses. Findings are then presented to you in a report prioritising areas for action and consideration and consideration.
