Suicide Risk and Substance Use
This is a course suitable for practitioners working with clients who use alcohol and/or other substances; whether that is to harmful levels or not. The workshop covers basic neurochemical processes, new or emerging substances effects on the brain and how these impact on psychological processes relevant to suicide. Opportunity is invited for participants to reflect on their existing practices.

The Course Framework
- 8.30am arrival for 9am start
- 10.45am morning tea (15 minutes)
- 12.45pm lunch (45 minutes)
- 3.15pm afternoon tea (10 minutes)
- 4.30pm close
